Design Calculators:

In the progress of designing an engine, I have found that little things help a lot. I have written 2 programs that have helped me design this engine. Both of these programs are web based, or 'cgi scripts'. They must be run through the internet.
These are simple programs, but they help a lot when needed.
The first is what I call a 'cubic inch calculator'. You enter the piston diameter, the stroke, and the number of cylinders, and it will tell you the cubic inch displacement of the engine. It also converts the cubic inches into cubic centimeters if you want to know the metric equivalent.

This is a program that will help you design the bearings for you crankshaft. The results from this program are configured for standard (SAE 660) bearing bronze.
